Path to Purchase Toolkit

The Path to Purchase Toolkit consists of a comprehensive range of advanced and traditional techniques framed within a four-stage process aimed at improving shopper conversion in-store:

Diagnose

Understanding motivations, behaviours and decisions that convert shoppers at each step on their Path to Purchase including the effectiveness of instore levers. Solutions combine research techniques including trip tracking, filming or observation, eyetracking, accompanied shops and exit interviews.

Create

Integrating insights into business planning and creating in-store solutions that drive brand and category performance. Workshop-based approach, sometimes in partnership with Kantar Retail.

Test

Testing new in-store concepts to find the best approaches for improving shopper conversion. Toolkit includes on-line and virtual reality (using Red Dot Square Solutions technology) and controlled store tests.

Monitor

Tracking the impact of new solutions. Toolkit includes observations and activation audits, mystery shopping and RFID PathTracker.
