Online panels

TNS Canada has been among the pioneers in the development of online consumer panel development in Canada and globally. In Canada we have a community of online Canadians that currently comprises well over 100,000 Canadians from all walks of life.

In North America and globally, 6th dimension is the world's leading network of fully managed online access panels, providing clients with insights that address issues from launching a new product to measuring attitude and usage. 6thdimension online access panels can reach 1 million panelists in the US, 500,000 across Europe, and 940,000 across Asia Pacific.

Our panels are more than a collection of email coordinates. We work hard at maintaining our vibrant, active consumer communities and TNS is known globally for the quality and innovation that underlies our Interactive Panels.

A wealth of information is available on our panelists

Through a two-stage joining process, an extensive database of member demographic, technographic and behavioural information is collected. This information is subsequently used for sample selection purposes. In addition, each member record includes survey contact history in order to allow us to prevent overuse or category contamination.

Ongoing recruitment ensures vibrant, robust online panels

Ongoing recruitment efforts through a variety of methods yield hundreds of new panel members monthly, ensuring that our panel is current and robust across individuals of all ages, community sizes and regions across Canada.

For every survey conducted, a customized sample of households is selected to be demographically representative of the specific universe required for the survey.

The diversity of our panels and communities

The diversity of our Interactive Panel offering is reflected in the numerous specialty communities that TNS offers, helping our clients communicate with specific, low incidence groups of the Canadian public in cost effective and strategically relevant manner.

Globally, we conduct more online interviews than any other research organization - over 16 million in 2006
